At this large Woodinville estate home on acreage, we added a cobblestone dry river bed (bottom L) to improve drainage on the lawn’s slope. For the main pathway, we installed crushed rock with a hardscape border, flanked by beauty bark with native shrubs and trees. The finished work serves as a nice welcome to residents and visitors of the property, and ensures they keep their shoes dry along the path leading up to the house.
